Certified Level II Dental Assistant & Treatment Coordinator
Lynden Hills Dentistry | Ontario
Pay: $30–$38 per hour

Lynden Hills Dentistry is looking for an experienced Certified Level II Dental Assistant & Treatment Coordinator to join our established and growing dental practice.

This is not a traditional chairside-only assisting position. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, builds strong relationships with patients, and is comfortable contributing wherever needed to help our patients, practice, and team succeed.

The ideal candidate combines strong clinical dental assisting experience with excellent communication, organization, and people skills. You should be comfortable supporting a dentist clinically, helping patients understand their treatment, coordinating care, and stepping in to support the administrative team when needed.

What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include a combination of clinical, treatment coordination, and administrative duties:
Provide Level II chairside dental assisting
Support dentists and hygienists during patient care
Coordinate treatment and help patients understand recommended care and next steps
Assist with treatment and case presentations
Follow up with patients regarding outstanding or recommended treatment
Help patients navigate their appointments and overall treatment journey
Support scheduling, patient communication, and front desk responsibilities when needed
Maintain accurate and organized patient information
Manage inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies
Maintain excellent infection prevention and clinical standards
Help keep the clinical day organized and running efficiently
Contribute to an exceptional patient experience from arrival through follow-up
Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members

Required Qualifications
Certified Level II Dental Assistant
Minimum 3 years of clinical dental assisting experience
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and adjust priorities throughout the day
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable using dental technology and practice-management systems
Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and excellent patient care
Previous experience with treatment coordination, case presentation, scheduling, or dental administration is an asset.

Office Hours
Our current practice hours are:
Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Specific working days and hours will be discussed based on the needs of the practice and the successful candidate.

Compensation & Benefits
