Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new clinic and help shape a positive and efficient workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
Take dental radiographs
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Manage patient records and charting accurately
Support front desk duties as needed (scheduling, patient communication)
Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment
Order supplies
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and alternating Saturdays
Qualifications
Certified/Licensed Dental Assistant (Level II) with valid registration in British Columbia
Current CPR certification
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience is preferred but newly certified dental assistants are welcome
