Certified Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Atlantis Dental Cambie. The position is for Sundays only, with the opportunity of more days to cover vacation time. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and ensure smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Tracker is highly valued. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to improving patient oral health and comfort.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures
Take dental radiographs, and iTero scans
Manage patient records accurately using Tracker
Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and answer their questions professionally
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with active licensure
Proven experience in dental assisting
Proficiency in Tracker
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience or training in dental assisting techniques, sterilization procedures, and patient care standards is essential
Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
