Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team . In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing chairside assistance, managing dental procedures, and ensuring a smooth clinical workflow. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), including 3D scans when applicable, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
Manage electronic medical records using ClearDent system , ensuring accurate documentation of medical and dental histories
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing patient flow efficiently
Maintain infection control standards by following strict protocols for sterilization and handling of contaminated materials
Assist with medical imaging procedures and accurately document findings in medical records using appropriate medical terminology and coding
