Friday morning hygienist. 8:15-1.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Manage dental imaging procedures such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and adherence to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Uphold strict infection control standards using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Hygienist from an accredited program with current licensure in the state of practice.
Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments with a strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft review and medical coding purposes.
Knowledge of infection control practices, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques essential for safe clinical operations.
Ability to perform patient care tasks including taking vital signs, chairside assisting, and managing pediatric patients with patience and professionalism.
Strong communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and provide excellent patient care in a friendly manner.
