Job Overview
We are seeking a Jr Dental Assistant/ Floater to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our dental practitioners and hygienists, ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering outstanding patient care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where expertise in dental procedures and patient interaction. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Hours:
Monday 9:00am - 8:00 pm
Tuesday 9:00 am-7:00 pm
Wednesday 8:00am-5:00 pm
Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00pm
1 Friday a month, 8:00am - 2:00pm
1 Saturday a month (alternate weeks) 9:00 am - 2:00pm
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including root canal treatment, crown and bridge invisalign, and general dentistry.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization and cleanliness standards are met.
Manage patient records using Tracker dental software, ensuring accurate documentation.
Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted clinic operations.
Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols, including infection control procedures and OSHA regulations.
Skills
Chairside dental assisting in a clinical setting.
Proficiency with dental software such as Tracker for record management.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care.
Familiarity with the used of digital imaging and restorative procedures.
Understanding of Invisalign and general dental procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to advance their career within the dental field by leveraging their technical skills and passion for patient care in a supportive team environment.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
