Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Certified or Registered Dental Assistant join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the Periodontist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and documenting chart notes The ideal candidate has a current license and at least three years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you! Competitive Compensation based on experience. Office hours M,T,Th 8-5 Closed on Wednesday Fri 8-1 no nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Take vital signs and accurately record medical history and chart notes for the Doctor
Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the Periodontist for exams and procedures
Assist Periodontist during procedures and exams
Adhere to all HIPAA and OSHA regulations and office policies
Schedule appointments and help the front office when necessary
Assisting Hygiene, breaking down rooms
Qualifications
Preferred -Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB) or at least 3 years experience as a dental assistant (Current X-ray license required)
Previous experience as a dental assistant in a periodontal office a plus but willing to train
Dentrix and Dexis experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to provide high-quality patient care
