Job Description
Chairside Dental Assistant – New Patient Coordinator
NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED | JOB TRAINING PROVIDED
We welcome experienced chairside assistants looking to transition into specialized orthodontic imaging and clinical intake!
Location: Glow Orthodontics
Position Type: Full-Time (4-Day Work Week, No Weekends)
Certification: Not Required (Uncertified / Non-CDA applicants strongly encouraged to apply)
About the Role
Glow Orthodontics is seeking an experienced Chairside Dental Assistant to join our team as a New Patient Coordinator.
In this hands-on clinical role, you’ll work directly chairside with our new patients during their initial consultations. Instead of routine restorative assisting (suctioning and rapid room turnover), your primary chairside focus will be running diagnostic appointments—capturing high-quality 3D scans, taking X-rays, and guiding new patients through their first visit.
No prior orthodontic experience or formal CDA certification is required. We provide complete, paid on-the-job training for all of our specialized orthodontic equipment and software.
Key Responsibilities
Chairside Digital Diagnostics: Perform high-resolution 3D intraoral scans using iTero technology.
Radiography: Capture digital Panoramic and Cephalometric X-rays.
Clinical Photography: Take intraoral and extraoral photos for treatment planning and diagnostic records.
Patient Intake & Care: Guide new patients and families through their initial consultation, providing warm, clear clinical communication.
Qualifications
Chairside Experience: Background working directly as a chairside dental assistant in a clinical environment (uncertified/non-CDA welcome!).
Technical Aptitude: Comfort learning modern digital imaging equipment, software, and electronic health records.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain simple clinical procedures to patients of all ages.
Attention to Detail: High standard for accuracy in capturing high-quality diagnostic records.
What We Offer
Comprehensive Training: Full, hands-on training on orthodontic diagnostics and technology.
Modern Work Environment: Fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility utilizing digital workflows.
Predictable Schedule: Consistent 4-day work week with no weekend shifts.
How to Apply
Submit your resume via Indeed or learn more about our practice at gloworthodontics.ca.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Benefits:
Company events
Dental care
Extended health care
On-site parking
Vision care

Work Location: In person
