Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented chairside Dental Assistant for sept 24-october 3 Monday, tuesday, thursday friday 9-5, saturday 9-2 vacation relief to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist in delivering comprehensive dental services, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical environment. Your role will be vital in enhancing patient comfort and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, explaining procedures clearly and addressing concerns professionally.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment that adheres to strict infection control protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in dental assisting with familiarity general dentistry procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health conditions.
Experience working with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of infection control standards and sterilization techniques within a dental setting.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric dentistry environments.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
