Job Description

First Health Chiropractic is seeking a Bilingual Spanish / English speaking, Chiropractic Assistant for our busy chiropractic office in Melbourne, FL. We are looking for someone who is a team player, energetic, a great communicator, and someone who enjoys being at the service to aid in the health and wellness to all! We ask that you are able to work in a fast paced environment. On the job training will be provided by our physician and staff members. We specialize in Motor Vehicle Accidents and Slip and Fall injuries, and general wellness and offer various therapies along with chiropractic adjustments for our patients as well. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support within our chiropractic clinic. This position requires an understanding of medical terminology, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities
Assist chiropractors in patient care procedures and treatment plans.

Manage patient scheduling, ensuring efficient use of clinic resources.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Conduct insurance verifications
Take payments for self-pay accounts.

Handle front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems and managing patient inquiries.

Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient visits.

Support the development of care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.

Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such ECLIPSE Software, or similar platforms for patient management.

Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and maintaining office organization.

Supply ordering for clinic needs.

Experience
Bilingual is a must to ensure proper communication from patients to doctors.

Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus; chiropractic clinic experience is a plus but not necessary.

Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient interaction and satisfaction.

FULL TIME POSITION
Bilingual (Spanish / English)
Our office hours and schedule for the week is as follows;
M: 9:00am-6:00pm
T: 9:00am-6:00pm
W: 9:00am-6:00pm
T: 9:00am-6:00pm
F: 9:00am-1:00pm
Closed daily for lunch 1:00pm-2:30pm
Please make sure your schedule accommodates our office hours. These will be your work hours required of you for this position. We ask that all employees arrive no later than 8:45am to set up for opening each day. The position is salaried at 40 hours a week, however with the breaks included this is only 34 hour work week schedule. We are closed on weekends and major holidays!
