Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chiropractic Insurance & Office Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will manage insurance processes, coordinate office operations, and ensure seamless communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies. Your proactive approach will help optimize reimbursement procedures, maintain accurate medical records, and uphold compliance standards such as HIPAA. Responsibilities
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments, ensuring accurate eligibility and authorization information.

Manage insurance claims submissions, follow-up on unpaid or denied claims, and facilitate timely reimbursements.

Maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Utilize CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding systems to accurately document diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes.

Coordinate with managed care organizations to streamline approvals and resolve coverage issues efficiently.

Assist patients with insurance questions, payment plans, and billing inquiries while providing exceptional customer service.

Keep abreast of updates in medical terminology, coding standards, and insurance policies relevant to chiropractic care.

Support office operations by managing medical records documentation, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized files.

Skills
Strong knowledge of managed care processes and insurance verification procedures.

Proven experience in medical office administration within a chiropractic or dental setting.

Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards to safeguard patient information.

Proficiency in CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems, and medical coding best practices.

Excellent understanding of medical terminology and medical records management.

Ability to navigate insurance claim submission platforms and handle denials or appeals effectively.
