Job Description
Front Desk / Office Coordinator – Chiropractic Office
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized person to join our chiropractic office as a Front Desk / Office Coordinator. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a small, close-knit team.
We are a small, independently owned office with a relaxed, supportive environment and a doctor who values and trusts his staff.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and will help keep the day-to-day operations of the office running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the doctor and patients while handling a variety of administrative responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing:
Greet patients and provide a warm, welcoming experience
Answer phones, respond to messages, and communicate with patients
Schedule and confirm appointments
Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient information
Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments
Verify insurance benefits and help patients understand their coverage
Work with insurance companies, Medicare, VA/TriWest, and attorneys as needed
Maintain patient accounts and assist with billing and follow-up
Process paperwork, records requests, referrals, and other documentation
Communicate with patients, insurance representatives, and outside offices
Assist with general office organization and administrative tasks
Help with social media and other office projects or giveaways when needed
The person we’re looking for:
Friendly, professional, patient, and comfortable talking with people
Organized and detail-oriented
Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks throughout the day
Comfortable learning new software and office systems
Able to handle confidential patient information professionally
Willing to learn about insurance and healthcare billing—we don’t expect you to know everything coming in!
Someone who takes initiative and can work independently while also being a team player
Communicates well with our biller and doctor on various office tasks
What makes this position different:
This is a small office where you will genuinely become an important part of the team. Every day is a little different, and the position offers the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills rather than being limited to one task. We value kindness, communication, reliability, and treating our patients like people—not numbers or an appointment time.
Experience in a medical, chiropractic, dental, or other healthcare office is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
What you can expect from us:
A friendly, supportive, and team-oriented work environment
A doctor who trusts his staff and encourages independence, and brings a positive attitude to the office every day.
Training provided for office systems, insurance, and billing processes
Variety in your day-to-day responsibilities
The opportunity to learn and grow within a small healthcare office
If you’re someone who enjoys helping people, staying busy, learning new things, and being part of a team where your work truly matters, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for the right person to grow with our office and become a valued part of our team!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Benefits:
On-the-job training
Paid time off
Paid training
Wellness program
Work Location: In person
