Duties
Communicates patient results clearly, accurately, and effectively to the doctor's offices.
Serves as a resource to clients regarding test requirements, specimen submission, and other laboratory policies and procedures.
Serves as a dispatch service for lab couriers.
Performs area-specific support activities.
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously
Handle data entry tasks, including filing, record keeping, and updating client information in various software systems.
Provide exceptional customer support by answering inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively
Assist with clerical tasks such as proofreading documents and organizing files.
Skills
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; for serving diverse clients
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Previous office experience in roles such as receptionist, medical or dental receptionist.
Adept at data entry, proofreading, and maintaining accurate records with close attention to detail
Familiarity with office equipment, including multi-line phone systems, fax machines, and printers
