Position Overview:As a Clinical Assistant at MedPro Sleep Apnea Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive patient experience while assisting our clinical staff. Your primary responsibilities will include managing patient interactions, providing excellent customer service, and supporting clinic operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a healthcare setting where your interpersonal skills and sales experience will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic. Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all visitors.
Appointment Scheduling: Manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and rescheduling when necessary. Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize appointment availability.
Patient Records: Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and needs promptly and effectively. Assist patients in completing necessary forms and documents.
Sales Support: Utilize your sales experience to educate patients about our services, products, and treatment options. Assist in presenting and explaining financial and insurance-related information.
Clinic Support: Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks, such as preparing patient rooms, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized clinic environment.
Communication: Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. Relay messages, requests, and important information accurately.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of quality and professionalism in all patient interactions, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
Previous customer service experience in a healthcare or related field is preferred.
Sales experience and the ability to effectively communicate treatment options is a strong advantage.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.
