Job Description

Vancouver TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre | Vancouver, BC | Full-Time
Vancouver TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre is an airway focused dental practice dedicated to TMJ (jaw pain/disorder) treatment and dental sleep medicine, helping patients find lasting relief from chronic pain and sleep-disordered breathing. We're growing, and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to work chairside with our doctor and help deliver an outstanding patient experience.

This is a great opportunity to build expertise in a niche, in-demand field of dentistry, with hands-on training and real room to grow.

Responsibilities
Assist the doctor chairside during patient exams, consultations, and appliance fittings/adjustments
Take impressions, scans, and diagnostic records (e.g., bite registrations, photos)
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and treatment rooms between patients
Educate patients on appliance care, home instructions, and recommendations
Maintain accurate clinical notes and assist with case documentation
Order and manage clinical supplies and inventory
Manage lab cases
Qualifications
Certification as a Dental Assistant (DA) or Medical Assistant (MA) preferred but not required, we're happy to train the right candidate
Comfortable working chairside and handling dental/medical instruments
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Warm, patient-centered communication style
Reliable, punctual, and a great teammate
Prior experience in a dental, orthodontic, sleep medicine, or medical office is a plus, but not essential
