Job Description

An accredited dental hygiene college located in Ottawa’s vibrant ByWard Market is seeking Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) to join our team as Clinical Instructors in the Client Care Clinics.

This role provides an opportunity to mentor and support dental hygiene students as they develop their clinical competencies in a supervised learning environment.

Multiple part-time positions are available. Hours may include evenings and Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support dental hygiene students during clinical client care sessions
Provide guidance, feedback, and evaluation to support student learning and clinical competence
Ensure adherence to clinic protocols, infection prevention and control standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment
Collaborate with faculty, clinic coordinators, and administration to support student success
Qualifications
Current registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) in good standing
Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Current certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
WHMIS
OHSA training
Completion of IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) training modules
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience
Experience with ABELDent dental practice management software

Pay: $50.86-$58.07 per hour
