Job Description

Job Summary
We are an established, independent Private OB/GYN Practice seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dedicated clinical team. If you have a passion for women’s health and a strong work ethic, we are fully willing to train you on specialized OB/GYN workflows, clinical terminology, and patient care.

Because we operate as an independent private practice, we pride ourselves on building lasting, personal relationships with our patients. The ideal candidate must be fully proficient in taking accurate manual blood pressures and have a strong preference for prior experience navigating the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Epic EMR system. You will play a critical role in our daily operations across our locations, ensuring our patients receive compassionate, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Intake: Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, accurately measure and record vital signs—including height, weight, and mandatory manual blood pressure readings.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Chart and update patient records efficiently within the Epic EMR platform, documenting chief complaints, medical history, allergies, and current medications.

OB/GYN Specialized Care (Training Provided): Learn to prepare patients and clinical rooms for specialized OB/GYN exams, prenatal checks, and minor in-office procedures.

Multi-Site Support: Maintain flexibility to travel to our satellite clinics in Natick and Walpole as required to support our providers and patient volume.

Private Practice Support: Assist with clinical tasks that keep our private practice running smoothly, ensuring efficient room turnover and an optimized clinic schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements
Manual BP Mastery: Must possess proven proficiency in taking manual blood pressures. (Candidates will be asked to demonstrate this skill during the interview process).

EMR Experience: Prior experience with the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Epic EMR system is strongly preferred.

Schedule & Travel Flexibility: Ability to work full-time hours Monday through Friday (primarily 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for an 8:00 AM start when needed). Reliable transportation for occasional travel to Walpole and Natick is required.

Eagerness to Learn: A strong, proactive willingness to learn specialized OB/GYN protocols, prenatal/gynecological terminology, and procedural assistance.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an MA program (CMA/RMA), current enrollment in a healthcare track, or equivalent hands-on clinical/direct patient care experience is highly preferred.

What We Offer
Competitive Pay:
Comprehensive On-the-Job Training: Direct, hands-on mentorship in specialized OB/GYN medical assisting and private practice workflows.

Close-Knit Work Environment: Avoid corporate hospital burnout. Enjoy working in a supportive, collaborative, and friendly private office setting.
