POSITION: Dental Receptionist

SALARY: $20.55 - $25.03 DOE

LOCATION: LRCHC - Inchelium, WA

Lake Roosevelt Community Health Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the daily administrative operations of the dental department.

Summary:

The Dental Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, verifying insurance information, collecting payments, and providing administrative support to dental providers and staff. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Essential Functions:

Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.

Check patients in and out for appointments.

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.

Collect co-pays, payments, and process receipts.

Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record system.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High school diploma or GED required.

Two (2) years of customer service, administrative, medical, or dental office experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of office equipment and computer systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Experience with electronic health records and dental practice management software preferred.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
