Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a positive, proactive, and experienced Dental Administrator/Hygiene Coordinator to join our team! This will be a full-time role Monday-Friday.
We are a thriving clinic with a diverse patient base and as such, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal dental health.
Responsibilities
Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls and patient inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
Complete schedule audits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
Oversee insurance claims and billing processes.
Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure timely reimbursements and resolve any discrepancies which may arise.
Submission of referrals and insurance predeterminations.
Requirements
2-3 years of previous dental administrative experience is preferred.
Experience with Dentrix would be considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and patients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an attention to detail.
A professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Strong organizational skills with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
