Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to both staff and patients. This position requires a strong background in administrative tasks, particularly within medical or dental environments, and proficiency in various software systems.
Duties
Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering inquiries.
Ensure full Doctor and Hygiene schedule
Handle multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments and manage patient communications.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Utilize software such as Open Dental for patient management and record keeping.
Assist with billing and insurance verification processes as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient patient care.
Provide support in managing office supplies and inventory.
Ensure the office environment is welcoming, organized, and compliant with health standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Administrator or in a similar role within a medical or dental office setting.
Familiarity with dental terminology is essential for effective communication.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems; experience with Epic or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong administrative skills, including excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Experience working with front desk operations in a dental environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for interacting with patients and staff.
