Job Description
The Smile Haven is looking for a positive, driven, and patient-focused Dental Administrator/Patient Experience Coordinator to join our growing team.
We are committed to providing an exceptional patient experience while creating a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment for our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely enjoys helping people, and is motivated to grow with the practice.
Responsibilities
Welcome and connect with patients in a warm, professional, and genuine manner.
Manage scheduling, patient communications, recalls, confirmations, and daily front-desk operations.
Coordinate treatment plans, appointments, financial discussions, and insurance-related matters.
Process payments, billing, insurance claims, and maintain accurate patient records.
Support smooth communication between patients, doctors, and the clinical team.
Help ensure the office runs efficiently and the patient journey is seamless from start to finish.
Maintain a welcoming, organized reception environment.
Contribute ideas and take initiative to continuously improve the patient experience and office systems.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Is positive, friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Takes ownership and is proactive rather than waiting to be asked.
Communicates clearly and works collaboratively with the entire team.
Is compassionate and comfortable supporting patients who may be anxious about dental care.
Has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.
Has previous dental administration experience; knowledge of dental software and insurance is an asset.
What We Value
Kindness. Collaboration. Accountability. Growth. Exceptional patient care.
We are building more than a dental office - we are building a team culture where people feel supported, valued, and proud of the work they do.
