Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk duties with professionalism and enthusiasm
Efficiently schedule and manage patient appointments using Open Dental and MaxAssist.
Verify patient insurance information and process billing accurately with electronic medical records systems
Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, confirm appointments, and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain organized patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence to support daily office operations
Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth clinic workflows
Experience
Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment is highly preferred
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic is essential
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems enhances your effectiveness in this role
Proven office experience, including handling multi-line phone systems and managing busy front desk activities, is required
Experience in medical or dental administrative roles demonstrates your ability to handle sensitive information professionally
Excellent organizational skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude will help you excel in this fast-paced setting
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
