Dental Administrator : Join our team at Delta Dental!
National Dental Care
About the Practice
Job Description
The first voice they hear. The warmest face they see. That is you.
When a nervous patient finally decides to call a dental clinic, the voice on the other end of that phone can either confirm their fears or change their mind entirely. At Delta Dental, that voice is you, and it might be the most important role in our entire practice.
Delta Dental is an established, growing dental clinic offering a comprehensive range of family, cosmetic, surgical, ortho and emergency dental services under one roof. We are looking for a Dental Administrator who understands that exceptional service is not a department, it is a mindset.
Why Delta Dental?
Delta Dental exists because too many people avoid the care they need due to anxiety, bad experiences, or the feeling of being rushed through an impersonal system.
Our clinic is warm, welcoming, and beautiful, with easy access. But the experience begins before a patient ever walks through our doors. It begins with a phone call, a warmly worded email, and the feeling that someone on the other end actually cares about getting them the help they need.
As our Dental Administrator, you are the ambassador of Delta Dental. You set the tone. You build the relationship. You are the reason patients feel confident before they even sit in the chair.
The Opportunity
Manage all incoming patient communications, calls, emails, and online inquiries, with professionalism, warmth, and clarity
Schedule appointments with precision, ensuring smooth daily flow and optimal provider productivity
Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, creating a calm, comfortable, and memorable first impression
Coordinate patient intake, health histories, insurance verification, and treatment documentation
Present and explain treatment plans clearly, supporting patients in understanding their options and next steps
Process billing, insurance claims, and patient payments accurately and efficiently
Maintain impeccable records within the practice management system
Partner with the clinical team to ensure seamless handoffs and exceptional communication throughout every visit
Actively support the clinic's recall and reactivation programs to keep patients engaged in their oral health journey
What You Bring
Previous experience in a dental administrative role is required
Warm, confident communicator, both on the phone and in person, with an exceptional ability to put people at ease
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with dental practice management software Dentrix is required
Knowledge of Alberta dental insurance billing and treatment coordination is an asset
A genuine passion for patient experience, customer service, and making people feel truly welcome
A calm, professional presence and a positive attitude that sets the tone for the entire team
What We Offer You
Full-time, permanent position in a beautiful, bright clinical environment
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Comprehensive health and dental benefits
Performance bonuses tied to patient satisfaction and clinic growth
A primary role in shaping the patient experience of a thriving practice
An incredible, supportive team culture where every person is valued
This role is for someone who takes genuine pride in delivering an exceptional experience, who understands that kindness, attention, and professionalism are not just qualities to have, they are gifts you give to every single patient who trusts you with their care.
If you believe in the power of a welcoming smile, your own, and the ones you help create, Delta Dental is the place for you.
