Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Has excellent phone skills and enjoys building rapport with patients
Is highly organized, detail oriented, and has excellent time management skills
Can multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy dental office environment
Is customer service driven and committed to creating a positive patient experience
Has strong experience with filling and managing schedules for both hygiene and doctor appointments
Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
Has strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and services to confidently explain treatment and benefits to patients
Has a good understanding of dental insurance benefits and claims to help patients maximize and manage their coverage
Enjoys connecting with patients and helping them navigate their dental care journey
Takes initiative and consistently goes the extra mile for patients and the team
Enjoys learning new systems, technology, and processes
Works collaboratively and contributes positively to our team culture
Responsibilities Include:
Managing and optimizing hygiene and doctor schedules
Proactively filling openings and maximizing appointment opportunities
Providing exceptional customer service to patients in person and over the phone
Coordinating patient appointments, recalls, and follow-ups
Completing dental benefit checks and reviewing insurance coverage with patients
Preparing and sending dental and hygiene treatment estimates
Helping patients understand their insurance benefits, treatment options, and financial responsibilities
Processing patient dismissals, including:
Sending insurance claims
Collecting and processing payments
Scheduling future appointments
Ensuring patients leave with a clear understanding of their next steps
Assisting patients with treatment coordination and financial discussions
Supporting a positive and efficient patient flow throughout the office
Working collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver an outstanding patient experience
Schedule
Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (every other week, alternating with Saturdays; approximately two Fridays per month)
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (every other week, alternating with Fridays; approximately two Saturdays per month)
