Job Description
WILL COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Performs various dental assisting duties during the examination and treatment of patients. Assists dentist, teaches patients how to care for their teeth, communicates effectively with patients (parents if the patient is a child), maintains equipment and inventory, follows universal precautions, and all OSHA requirements to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. The assignment is for two to three months, with a work schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM.
Level II: High School diploma or equivalent. Certification for Coronal Polishing and Application of Pit and Fissure Sealants through the Illinois State Dental Society. Valid CPR, if applicable. One (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Level I: High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CPR, if applicable. One (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
