What You'll Be Responsible For
Assisting the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and maintaining sterilization protocols
Taking digital radiographs and charting during exams
Educating patients on treatment and post-operative care
Helping maintain inventory and an organized, efficient back office
Working closely with the front office and clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience
Stepping in where needed to help the team succeed—because no task is ever "someone else's job"
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of dental assisting experience or completion of an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program
Willing to work between our Margate and Lauderdale by the Sea offices (primarily Margate)
CPR/BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with Open Dental, digital scanners, Expanded Functions, and dental billing codes is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person.
