Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations.

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR SATURDAYS
Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Take and develop dental radiographs
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Abeldent
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Handle administrative tasks related to patient check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling akin to a dental receptionist role
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards
Support patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures
Requirements
MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR SATURDAYS
Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Familiarity with dental software platforms
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization processes
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion

Pay: $20.52-$25.00 per hour
