Job Description
Jet Dental is seeking dependable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistants to join our Akron, OHdental team. This position helps provide high-quality dental care in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent patient service at employer-sponsored onsite dental clinics. Some travel required.
Required Responsibilities:
Take x-rays using a nomad
Sterilize instruments
Turn over rooms
Set up trays for new patients
Help with set up and take down of equipment
Polish and floss after scaling is performed
Being helpful to Dr., hygienist, and fellow eammates
Please note you will be lifting equipment up to 50+ pounds!

Qualifications
Prior experience as a dental assistant or in a similar clinical support role
Proficiency in chairside assisting, sterilization, and handling dental instruments
Strong patient communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to adapt to variable schedules and travel to different sites on a 1099 contract basis
Basic knowledge of infection control, OSHA guidelines, and HIPAA compliance
CPR/First Aid certification preferred; valid dental assistant license or credentials as applicable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
