Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting.
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care - Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Utilize dental software systems OPEN DENTAL - Use CAD software for designing dental prosthetics
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant certification - Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting techniques - Familiarity with dental software systems OPEN DENTAL - Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry - Ability to take and develop dental x-rays - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
