Overview
Join the growing team at Lemon Dental Studio as a Dental Assistant and help us deliver an exceptional patient experience in a comfortable, modern environment. This clinical role is central to supporting the dentist and ensuring every patient feels cared for from start to finish.
You’ll assist chairside during a variety of procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take digital X-rays, maintain clean and organized treatment rooms, and help keep our clinical operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of procedures, including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other clinical treatments.
Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA and infection control standards.
Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos using dental imaging software.
Maintain clean, well-organized treatment rooms by setting up trays, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring all materials are stocked.
Update and manage patient clinical records accurately using dental practice software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
Support clinical workflows by reviewing medical histories, recording vital signs, and assisting with patient intake.
Provide postoperative instructions and reinforce dentist-recommended care plans in clear, easy-to-understand language.
Handle lab cases, including sending impressions, tracking cases, and ensuring timely returns.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies to keep the clinical area fully stocked.
Follow strict HIPAA, OSHA, and infection-control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical dental setting is highly preferred.
Strong familiarity with dental practice management and EHR systems such as Dentrix Ascend.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, materials, and chairside assisting protocols.
Understanding of infection control, sterilization standards, and OSHA/HIPAA regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.
Ability to take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photos using modern dental imaging equipment.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills, with the ability to explain procedures and post-operative instructions clearly and compassionately.
Strong organizational skills, including maintaining treatment rooms, managing clinical inventory, and preparing procedure trays accurately.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse patient community.
Prior dental office experience and familiarity with dental terminology are strongly preferred.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
