We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Dental Assistant to join our growing pediatric dental team! In this role, you'll work closely with our dentists and team members to provide exceptional patient care, support a variety of dental procedures, and help create a fun, welcoming experience for every patient. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-focused practice dedicated to quality care.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including pediatric and general dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Take dental X-rays while following radiation safety guidelines
Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety
Support patient comfort by explaining procedures and providing compassionate care
Qualifications
Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices preferred
Experience with Dentrix dental software is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Positive attitude, professionalism, and a passion for working with children
