Dental Assistant

This assistant position is one of our most important and it is unique in that it is assisting hygiene 3-4 days/week. Its unique given the autonomy you have in doing this job and that the responsibilities are different than chairside assisting a dentist alone. Essentially we need an enthusiastic assistant that will learn and be able to do everything a hygienist would do except clean the teeth. This is a job with a lot of patient interaction and begins by listening to patient concerns and immediately discerning how they can be addressed. It includes learning to examine the dentition, taking photos and beginning to educate the patient on dental needs and oral hygiene instruction. It seems like this job would be more fun than chairside assisting alone, because you can be heavily interactive with a patient and creative in your approach. This new team member needs to have x-ray certification. Resh Family Dentistry has been serving Hampstead since 1926 and we would love for you to consider joining a great group of staff and patients.
