Dental Assistant

Dental Practice looking for a responsible, professional, and friendly dental assistant. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dental Insurances is a REQUIRED. Spanish or Haitian Creole speaker preferred. Please send your resume.

Job Requirements:
Greeting, seating, and dismissing patients in a timely manner
Preparing and cleaning operatories for patient treatment
Assisting in four handed dentistry
Obtaining digital radiographs
Familiar with dental terminology and instruments
Sterilize all instruments and handpieces according to OSHA regulations
Pouring models and basic lab work
Helping to maintain a clean and well stocked office
Monitor and send out all dental laboratory cases
Ensure laboratory cases are delivered to patients in a timely manner
Track pending pre-determinations
Keep inventory up to date and order supplies
Working with the staff as a team
Creating an easy and nice flow in the work day
Assisting with receptionist duties, including but not limited to answering the phone, filing, scheduling appointments (if needed)

$15-20 per hour
Required Experience:
Dental Assisting: 1 year
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate or accredited dental assisting program preferred
