Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using CAD technology
Take and develop dental radiographs, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Manage patient records using dental software such as ABELDent
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
Support front desk operations by performing dental receptionist duties when needed
Educate patients on oral health care and treatment plans
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
Familiarity with dental software including ABELDent, Dentrix, and CAD systems
Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided for qualified candidates
Knowledge of dental assisting best practices to ensure patient safety and comfort
