Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry practices.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), operate 3D scanners, and handle medical imaging equipment with precision.
Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and coding.
Monitor vital signs and assist with patient comfort by providing chairside assistance throughout treatments.
Maintain infection control standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and data security.
Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and answering patient inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, familiarity with medical records management is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and HIPAA compliance.
Certification or training in X-ray technology; experience with medical imaging equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience caring for pediatric patients is advantageous.
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
