Dental Assistant

We are a PATIENT focused, family practice looking for an energetic and friendly individual who would like to take advantage of an opportunity for growth and development within the field. Seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant for our busy, progressive practice. Candidate must be punctual, hard working and be eager to learn. Successful postulant will have an excellent command of the English & French language both written/verbal and have a great attitude. Previous ABELDent experience would be an asset, but the right person can be trained. A good comprehension of dental procedures or the motivation to learn them would be an asset. We require someone who can be a leader and a team player, compassionate, efficient, with specific attention to details and be extremely patient/customer service focused. The applicant should have a good understanding of systems and processes and be willing to be flexible to accommodate our schedule and patients. The contender will be vitally important to helping our practice run smoothly & enable our clinical team to maintain the highest level of dental care to our valued PATIENTS.
· Monday to Friday (Varied work schedule, NO evenings NO weekends)
· Start date: July 13, 2026
· Hours or work: 24 to 40 hours per week (7:50 AM to 5:00 PM)

HERE’S WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
· Support the dentist by assisting chairside during procedures.
· Sterilization procedures following IPAC guidelines and Quality Assurance controls.
· Disinfection, take-down and set-up of restorative and hygiene operatories
· Ensure all clinical and storage areas are clean, neat, and free from clutter and prohibited/unnecessary materials.

Preference Will Be Given To The Following Applicants:
· Bilingual (French & English)
· Dental Assistant Certification would be an asset but not mandatory.
· Current registration with HARP is considered an asset.
· ABELDent experience
· Willing and able to complete a working interview
