Dental Assistant

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
Experienced in chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
Friendly and professional with strong communication skills
Confident with digital technology and dental software
A true team player who is willing to help where needed
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
Experience with digital X-rays and CBCT imaging
Experience with intraoral scanners / 3D scanning technology
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
Coronal polishing and sealant certification is a plus
Experience assisting with restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, implants, and endodontic procedures preferred
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral scans as needed
Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
Help create a welcoming and positive patient experience
Maintain compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
Support clinical efficiency and patient flow throughout the day
Schedule
Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: As needed (8:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
Occasional coverage may be needed at our Streamwood office: Irvington Dental 945 W. Irving Park Rd Streamwood, IL 60107
