Now Hiring: Experienced Dental Assistant
Dentistry of Tavares | Lake County, FL
Dentistry of Tavares is a busy, established dental practice in Lake County, FL, looking for a skilled, dependable Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This position is a fast-paced, positive, and patient-focused environment.
We are looking for an experienced assistant who takes pride in excellent chairside support, strong communication, and being a reliable part of patient care. The right candidate is organized, proactive, and able to help keep the clinical workflow running smoothly and efficiently. Our schedule is Monday through Friday and the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare, sterilize, and organize treatment rooms and instruments
Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
Assist with temporary restorations and digital scanning
Educate patients as directed by the dentist
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Follow all infection control and safety standards
Help maintain a clean, efficient, and positive clinical environment
Assist with front office or administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
Certified or Registered Dental Assistant, according to state requirements
Minimum of 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and instruments
Proficiency with dental X-rays and infection control standards
Familiarity with HIPAA and patient records management
Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced office
Experience with Open Dental is a plus
