Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the delivery of exceptional dental care. In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with aseptic techniques.

Assist dentists during various procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by providing chairside support.

Take and develop X-ray images while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety standards.

Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and coding.

Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures.

Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging or other diagnostic procedures as needed for comprehensive patient care.

Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls as a dental receptionist, and maintaining organized medical records.

Requirements
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures.

Proficiency with dental software systems including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation.

Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.

Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff.

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.

Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred; certification in radiography or dental assisting is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
