Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. We have 2 amazing Dentist and a great team. We are looking to add an assistant with the option of full time or Wednesdays only. The ideal candidate will assist our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. Duties:
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop X-Ray images as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Utilize knowledge of Dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Familiarity with Dental imaging techniques to support dental procedures
- Proficiency in using software Dentrix for administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program preferred
- X-Ray certification required
- Previous experience in a dental office setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
