Duties
Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment efficiently.
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to ensure precise imaging.
Provide excellent patient support by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Tracker including charting and treatment documentation.
Support the sterilization and maintenance of dental tools and equipment to uphold strict infection control standards.
Coordinate appointment scheduling and communicate effectively with patients as a friendly dental receptionist.
Requirements
Proven experience in dental assisting with familiarity in dental terminology and clinical procedures.
Knowledge of dental software platforms such as Tracker for record keeping and scheduling.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Ability to operate CAD systems for imaging purposes with precision and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to support patients of all ages and backgrounds effectively.
Certification in dental assisting is preferred; and knowledge of Tracker software and intra oral scanner.
