Dental Assistant

```Duties```

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient and the necessary instruments and materials

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment by following aseptic techniques

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

- Assist with medical documentation and record keeping
```Skills```

- Dental assisting experience, including knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

- Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues

- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry

- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care

- Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements for patient privacy and confidentiality
