Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
Take dental radiographs.
Manage patient records using Opendental software systems
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating medical histories
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment
Requirements
Prior experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
Proficiency with dental management software such as Opendental.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of sterilization protocols and infection control standards
