Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office.
Provide support in orthodontics, pediatrics, or other specialized areas as required.
Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting, minimum 3 years
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial.
Experience as a dental receptionist or familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) may enhance your application.
