Job Description
New and modern dental office in Keswick/ Georgina, looking for a Dental Assistant.
Job Details:
Dental assistant duties, assisting on surgeries, restorative, endodontics, and other dental procedures
You must be personable, friendly, and have a strong work ethic.
We are looking for a team player with a love of dentistry and the desire to help patients.
Responsibilities:
Assisting duties include but are not limited to:
Chairside assisting for all dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take digital X-rays
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Taking inventory of supplies and equipment maintenance
Maintaining the office in a clean, sterile, and tidy manner
Licence/Certification:
CDA Level II certification required
Requirements:
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and instruments is required
Proficient in taking dental x-rays and maintaining radiation safety protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A good command of the English language (written and verbal), strong communication and computer skills are essential
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
Dental assisting: minimum 1 year
Dental receptionist experience is an asset
Knowledge of Paradigm dental software is an asset
Job Type: Permanent
