Job Description
*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dental assisting and possess knowledge of various dental systems and procedures.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Take dental X-rays
- Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
- Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology in patient interactions
- Proficient in using Eaglesoft software for patient records
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy and confidentiality
*Requirements*
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft software is advantageous
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
Job Type: Part-time
