Job Description
Dental Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Eastern Avenue Dental – Sacramento, CA
Are you a compassionate, motivated Dental Assistant who enjoys helping people and making patients feel comfortable? At Eastern Avenue Dental, we are looking for someone who genuinely cares about patient well-being and wants to be part of a supportive, modern dental team.
Our practice combines personalized patient care with the latest digital technology. Whether you're an experienced assistant or eager to learn new skills, we are happy to provide training and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
Taking high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
Sterilization and infection control following OSHA and CDC guidelines
Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical supplies
Assisting with patient education and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
Taking digital impressions using an intraoral scanner
Assisting with 3D printing and post-processing of dental appliances (training provided)
Supporting the doctor and team to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications
Dental Assistant certification (or qualifications required by California)
X-ray certification required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Organized, dependable, and a team player
Willingness to learn new digital technologies and workflows
