About the Role
Children & Family Dentistry & Braces of Hartford is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dental assistant seeking stability, strong leadership, and a positive work environment focused on high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including orthodontic and general dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization standards
Take digital X-rays and assist with charting
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
Support efficient patient flow and teamwork within the clinic
Maintain supplies and assist with daily clinical operations
Qualifications
Dental assisting experience preferred (orthodontic experience a plus, not required)
X-ray certification preferred
Strong chairside manner and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, professional, and team-focused attitude

Licensed Dental Assistant (DA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) required or preferred per state guidelines
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
