Office Hours: Monday-Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 8-4
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental systems, infection control protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.

Manage medical records accurately, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.

Operate dental equipment, X-ray machines, while adhering to safety protocols.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.

Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and disinfecting surfaces according to established guidelines.

Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications
Must be a Registered Dental Assistant
Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is essential for effective communication and patient education.

Previous experience in a dental assisting role is highly desirable; we welcome motivated candidates willing to learn.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to follow infection control protocols diligently to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike
