Dental Assistant

Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards
Take digital x-rays
Update electronic medical records using Eaglesoft
Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative care, and oral health maintenance
Assist with sterilization processes and inventory management of dental supplies
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to infection control and aseptic techniques
Experience
Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with dental assisting duties is essential
Proficiency in Eaglesoft is highly desirable
Oregon Radiology License is required
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy and medical terminology is required
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
